Police Officer Training
Liberty Hill Investigations, LLC, specializes in offering patrol officers knowledge-based practical technical skills used in modern day policing so they may gain confidence, maximize safety, and improve efficiency while building and strengthening relationships in their community.
COURSE DATES & TIMES
- Practical technical skills training is presented on Tuesday and Wednesday from 5PM to 9PM, at a peak of brain acquisition mode, and according to a National Institute of Health study, the peak of active learning.
- Each training topic will be introduced with a brief PowerPoint followed by instructor-led Visual, Auditory, Reading/Writing, and Kinesthetic learning techniques.
- This innovative concept is utilized to flatten the forgetting curve where research has shown large sums of material presented in an 8 hour, (8AM-4PM training session) may be lost within 1 week of the training.

Four 2-hour courses: $275.00 – Tuesday and Wednesday from 5PM to 9PM
COURSE OF INSTRUCTION
- Principles of Investigation: practical approach to techniques utilized in an investigation
- Relevant Evidence: basic scene processing techniques for patrol officers in identifying, collecting, packaging, preserving, and presenting in Court
- Suspect Identification: methods used to eliminate bias and the double-blind array
- Street Interviews and the Neighborhood Canvass: ask the 5 most important questions
- Property Processing (Recovered/Stolen Vehicle): scene to shelf to laboratory to Courtroom
- Principles of Investigation: effects of confirmation bias in the investigative process and the preparation of an arrest warrant, search warrant, ex-parte, and risk protection order/warrant
