Liberty Hill Investigations, LLC, polygraph examiners are skilled and experienced law enforcement professionals with advanced training consisting of blended and widely accepted interview and cognitive memory jogging techniques used to identify unresolved issues which can then be cross-referenced with polygraph data and other evidence.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- The polygraph diagnostic, or single-issue, examination and the polygraph screening, or multi-issue, examination are approximately two hours in length; therefore, be mentally prepared, appropriately dressed, rested, fed, and hydrated.
- To alleviate any unnecessary stress, have all paperwork accurately and neatly completed before the test date and arrive early to your exam.
- The polygraph examiner will create a path for your success through an informative and non-confrontational structured approach to the polygraph examination process. Liberty Hill Investigations, LLC complies with the Employee Polygraph Protection Act of 1988 (EPPA).
DISCLAIMER: Any attempt to thwart, hinder, or alter the results of the polygraph exam through the use of countermeasure or purposeful non-compliance by the examinee will result in the immediate termination of the exam and expulsion of the examinee. LHI polygraph examiners WILL NOT perform a polygraph exam on a pregnant examinee or anyone determined not suitable for testing.
CT LAW ENFORCEMENT PRE-EMPLOYMENT EXAMINATIONS
Liberty Hill Investigations, LLC conforms with CT Police Officer Standards and Training Council (POSTC) entry level requirements for police pre-employment polygraph screening exams and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) pertaining to protected health information (PHI).
Procedure
If agreeable, the requesting agency provides the name, phone, and email address of their applicant. Liberty Hill Investigations, LLC staff will email the applicant a copy of the CT Standardized Law Enforcement Pre-Employment Polygraph Examination Pre-Test Questions Booklet, a Liberty Hill Investigations, LLC Polygraph Consent and Waiver form, and polygraph instructions with the date and time of exam. All correspondence with the applicant is shared with appropriate law enforcement agency personnel. All polygraph reports are confidential and are provided to the Chief of Police, Civil Service or Police Commission Board, or Human Resource (Personnel) Director, or their designees, no later than three business days from the exam.

We conduct polygraph exams for civil disputes, family matters, and sporting events.
Family Matters
Relationships are based on trust, and once lost, trust may be difficult to rebuild. We offer Specific Issue Diagnostic Polygraph Examinations in the areas of infidelity and theft within the family dynamic. Our process begins with a consultation that includes the involved parties so that the issue at hand can be identified. The polygraph process will be explained in detail and the person to be examined will be furnished with a Liberty Hill Investigations, LLC Pre-Test polygraph booklet. The exam date will be selected no sooner than two weeks from the consultation. This is a voluntary process, and the exam is administered at the discretion of the Liberty Hill Investigations, LLC polygraph examiners.
Sports or Competitive Contests
A Specific Issue Diagnostic Polygraph Examination is utilized to verify the truthfulness of testimony, provided by the participants, contestants, or competitors in the event, that the “Rules” of the event were followed and the evidence of a winning entry was not tainted, altered, or prohibitively produced with the knowledge of the participant at presentation. A significant monetary payout, prize, or personal reputation may be at stake so each party selected for the polygraph examination will be required to complete an Attestation Statement and Liberty Hill Investigations, LLC Pre-test polygraph booklet.
Legal Matters
After an initial consultation, we will connect clients with associate polygraph examiners who will address the specific needs of the client in a confidential and professional manner. Any consultation or associate referral shall be at the sole discretion of the Liberty Hill Investigations, LLC staff.
